Little pricier than what I was initially going for but I splurged anyway. Just the smoothness of the racks and door compared to other makes and models was one of first things we noticed. It was in stock and getting to feel and touch it is definitely a bonus. As far as sound you can't even tell it's running. By far quietest I've ever owned. Cycle choices are great, gets dishes clean. Cycle times are lengthy is only downfall, told it's because it has to see 120-130 deg. water or it has to heat it up. No faucet I know of has instant hot water coming out, so that lengthens the time. If you run water to get it hot then start dishwasher it cuts time down. Needs a heater element to heat water, the element for drying isn't designed for heating the water. Overall a great dishwasher. Very satisfied

I wanted an appliance that could come in a name we recognized and was made in America. Also superb value for you money, and ease of installation, and ease of use with out of sight buttons. And this dishwasher combines all these features. Besides, we have always had Kitchen Aid dishwasher and they just about don't wear out.
